Chris Chambers was just traded to the Chargers for a 2008 second-round pick. On the positive side, we are at least planning for the future. If we use the pick wisely, we could possibly end up with some badly needed help in the secondary (Surtain and Madison were 2nd rounders). Chambers was a gamer who made Fiedler almost bearable; a guy who mage Frerotte look like a quality starter. If you had to separate what is right and wrong with this team, he was definitely part of the very small right pile. It's time for Ginn to step up and show whether he and his family were a waste of a pick or not. It's time for Derek "Butterfingers" Hagan to show whether or not he can hold onto a pass.
